This Privacy Policy describes how we collect, process, use, store, share, and safeguard your personal data when collected from our website, including www.oesolutions.com, or when collected when you as customer, supplier, or in another role interact with us.

By accessing, using, or interacting with us at our website, you expressly consent to our collection, processing, use, disclosure, and retention of your information as described in this Privacy Policy.  From time to time, we may make changes to this Privacy Policy to better serve our customers and/or clients. What information do we collect?

When you use our website or otherwise communicate with us, i.e., by submitting information to us via the website, sending email messages, forms or other information to us through the website or through email to OE Solutions employees, or interact with the website, we may collect personal data that you provide to us.  For example, we may collect personal data such as your name, address, user name, e-mail address, company or organization name, address, phone number, country of residence, etc.  The personal data means any information that, when used alone or combined with other data, may be used to identify an individual.  Further, you may register an account on our website and create a password to access your account.  In such cases, we may collect your name, email address, telephone number, country, company name, address, and etc.

 

How do we use personal information?

We may use information that we collect about you through the website only for business purposes such as responding to your requests for product information, documentations and/or services, processing your order or invoice, corresponding with you and/or your company, enabling your subscription or event registration, sending direct marketing information, performing market research, and/or handling a job application. We may also use the information to personalize the content you review on our website in order to better understand your needs and/or improve the services we provide to you.  Further, we may share your information with third-party entities who provide certain services to us or on our behalf, including one such as operating and supporting our website.

Your personal data may be stored on servers in the locations to which you sent your email or enter your personal information via websites, etc., including ones in the United States, Korea and other countries in which our affiliates may be based. Further, your personal data may be transferred to other OE Solutions entities, including ones in the United States and Korea.

By using our website and providing us with your consent, you allow us to collect and use your personal data.  However, you have the right to request OE Solutions to not contact you for the purposes of sending you customer surveys, newsletters, and/or direct marketing materials.  This can be exercised by clicking or checking on appropriate checkboxes at the point when the personal data is collected.

For example, we may request your direct consent to use your personal data by providing an “opt-out” or “opt-in” option before your personal data may be used for any additional purposes to that for which your consent has been or is given.

For EU Data Subjects, we rely on the following legal bases to process your personal data: performance of a contract with respect to the use of our website, account registration, and legitimate business interests for processing of your personal data; your implied consent for collection and processing of your personal data which may be provided to us by you, i.e. by contacting us via email for business purposes, or making your contact information available in the public domain for other business purposes; and your consent for collection and processing of your personal data obtained via e-mail, registration, subscription, etc.

 

When do we share personal data?

We treat your personal data confidentially but in certain circumstances we may share with third parties to better serve you. Your personal data may be transferred within your country and/or across borders from your country of residence or jurisdiction to OE Solutions entities, affiliated third parties and/or business partners in other countries around the world so that such OE Solutions entities, affiliated third parties and/or business partners may provide services and other operations required to transact business with you.  Also, we may share your personal data with government agency or law enforcement agency when required by law or court orders.

 

How do we secure personal data?

We take reasonable data security measures to secure your personal data collected. For example, certain measures are in place to protect the personal data against loss, theft, unauthorized use, disclosure, or modification. However, we cannot guarantee or warrant the security of any information you provide to us or submit through our website. As such, you should use caution and take special care in deciding what information you send to us via e-mail and through the website.  Also, our security measures include training of our staff and contractors on data security as well as managing third party risks through use of contracts and security reviews.

 

How long do we keep your personal data for?

In accordance with our data retention policy, we may keep your information for a certain amount of time before destruction or deletion of the information.  However, in some cases, we may retain your personal information you provide to us as long as we have legitimate business interests and to fulfill our purpose for which it was originally collected. Further, we may retain certain information to comply with the law or take other actions permitted by law.

 

Your rights in relation to personal data

We acknowledge and respect your rights to access and control your personal data. As such, you have rights to access, correct and delete your personal data; to withdraw your consent; to port your personal data; to restrict processing of your personal data; and to lodge a complaint. You may request copies, modifications, or deletions of your personal data that you provided to us by contacting us at dataprivacy@oesolutions.com.  Upon receipt of your request, we will use reasonable efforts to accommodate your request to the extent required by applicable law.

For persons located in the European Union (“EU Data Subjects”), effective on May 25th, 2018, we will process your personal information in accordance with the Regulations (EU) 2016/679 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 27 April 2016, known as the “General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR)”.  Under the GDPR, you have the following rights, subject to certain exceptions and limitations as set forth in the GDPR:

  • Right to obtain from us confirmation as to whether or not your personal data are being processed, and access to such personal data and additional information. See Article 15 of GDPR.
  • Right to rectification of any inaccurate personal data about you without undue delay. See Article 16 of GDPR.
  • Right to erasure of personal data about you without undue delay unless we have a legitimate interest to keep the personal data. See Article 17 of GDPR.
  • Right to restrict the processing of personal data about you, unless we have a legitimate interest to continue processing the personal data for the purpose in respect to which you requested the restriction. See Article 18 of GDPR.
  • Right to receive your personal data from us in a structured, commonly used and machine-readable format, unless it adversely affects the rights and freedoms of others. See Article 20 of GDPR.
  • Right to object the processing of your personal data at any time on grounds relating to your particular situation. See Article 21 of GDPR.
  • Right to withdraw your previously given consent to processing of your personal data at any time. See Article 7 of GDPR.

If you are an EU Data Subject and wish to exercise any of your rights mentioned above, you should contact us at dataprivacy@oesolutions.com.  We will endeavor to accommodate these requests to the extent required by applicable law.  If you believe our processing of your personal data violates data protection laws, you have a legal right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority responsible for data protection. You may do so in the EU member state of your residence, your place of work or the place of the alleged violation.

 

Use of automated decision-making and profiling

We do not use profiling or other automated decision-making tools with respect to personal data we collect at our website.

 

Use of cookies and other technologies

We do not use cookies and other tracking and similar technologies to store and manage user preferences on our website, advertise, enable content or otherwise analyze user and usage data.

Our website may include links to third party websites that are not owned or operated by OE Solutions.  OE Solutions is not responsible for the content and privacy practices of the third-party websites. We encourage you to investigate before accessing and/or disclosing information to third parties.

 

Changes to Privacy Policy

From time to time, we may change this Privacy Policy in whole or in part to accommodate new technology, industry practices, regulatory requirements or for other purposes.  In the event of such changes to this Privacy Policy, we may provide notice to you if these changes are material and where required by applicable law, we may obtain your consent.
