OE Solutions Announces CWDM Bi-Directional pluggable modules for CPRI & OBSAI

By OE Solutions

OE Solutions Co, Ltd., a global supplier of high performance optoelectronic transceiver solutions for wireless and wireline optical communications, announced the production of Single-fiber Bi-directional SFP for CPRI & OBSAI standards with CWDM wavelengths. For the OBSAI application, the rates are 6.144Gbps, 3.072 Gbps, 1.536 Gbps and 0.768 Gbps. For the CPRI application, the rates are 6.144Gbps, 3.072 Gbps, 2.4576 Gbps, 1.2288 Gbps and 0.6144 Gbps. OE’s parts can operate at all the CPRI & OBSAI data rates up to 6.144Gbps within industrial temperature range.  OE also offers an option of selecting Single-Wavelength solution<?xml:namespace prefix = o ns = “urn:schemas-microsoft-com:office:office” />

“As the leader in single fiber transceiver technology, OE Solutions is offering the solution that can give more flexibility for customer’s architecture,” said John Kwak, Director of Business Development at OE Solutions. “Customers can now fully realize the cost and design benefits of utilizing CWDM wavelengths in a single-fiber solution. Having single-wavelength option, customers can deploy single-fiber bi-directional link with only one CWDM wavelength and double the number of links.” In addition, as do most of OE Solutions’ transceivers, this product line satisfies industrial temperature requirement, i.e. -40 ~ 85 degC.

Single-fiber bi-directional solutions have been considered one of the most practical solutions for easier fiber management and cost savings.   Combining CWDM and Single-wavelength into that solution, it creates further values to the customers.

OE Solutions will exhibit in booth #1616 at the ECOC 2011, September 19-21, 2011, at the PALEXPO convention center in Geneva, Switzerland.
