OE Solutions to Showcase New Mobile Backhaul/Fronthaul and Data Center Products at OFC 2015
By OE Solutions
ENGLEWOOD CLIFFS, NJ – March 20, 2015 – OE Solutions, a global technology leader in optical transceivers, will showcase new products and technologies, including demonstrations of 100 G DMT technology and CSC LambdaRich™ transceivers in Booth #1655 at OFC2015 in Los Angeles Convention Center during March 24-26.
“At this year’s OFC, we are showing a number of exciting products and technologies that address critical applications such as mobile networking as well as data center connectivity,” said Per Hansen, VP of Marketing and Sales at OE Solutions America. “We are expanding our portfolio of single-fiber transceivers with full support of the CWDM bands while still supporting the entire industrial temperature range for outdoor deployments, and we will have demonstrations of our latest products. Also, we will display a new product in the Smart SFP™ portfolio.”
• 100 G DMT (Discrete Multi-Tone) technology promises to be highly effective at meeting the rapidly increasing capacity demands for data center connectivity. The single-wavelength encoding scheme offers cost-effectiveness, lower power consumption, and space efficiency. There will be live demonstrations of the technology at OFC2015.
• CSC (Cooled Single Channel) LambdaRich™ transceivers serve applications such as mobile fronthaul/backhaul and enterprise services infrastructures that require scalability in combination with the cost-effectiveness of CWDM. These transceivers enable bi-directional CWDM transmission using two-sub-bands within the conventional 20 nm bands. There will be live demonstrations of models with 5 G and 6 G data rates at OFC2015.
• IP OAM Smart SFP™ delivers a comprehensive set of OAM features for IP based networks at Gigabit Ethernet speed implemented in the pluggable transceiver itself. Features include L2/L3/L4 activation testing according to RFC2544/ Y.1564 standards, loss and delay measurement according to TWAMP and remote retrieval of DDMI metrics. The product was jointly developed by OE Solutions and AimValley and was introduced on March 18, 2015.
