CHICAGO, IL, June 17, 2014 \u2014 OE Solutions and AimValley introduce Ethernet OAM 3.0 Smart SFP\u2122 for service assurance in mobile backhaul, business access and mission critical networks.<\/p>\n

Service Level Assurance and service turn-up in packet based networks require tools to monitor and troubleshoot end-to-end services. The OAM 3.0 Smart SFP\u2122 provides operators with these tools by simply replacing a conventional SFP with a Smart SFP\u2122.<\/p>\n

On top of the existing feature set, the new OAM 3.0 Smart SFP\u2122 collects key performance indicators such as availability, packet throughput, loss and delay for CE2.0 services on private and virtual E-Line and E-LAN topologies. The SFP supports several hundreds of parallel test sessions with high rate tools for loss and delay measurement, allowing operators to continuously monitor their services and proactively pinpoint a variety of transient service degradations on mobile backhaul and business access networks. All these OAM capabilities are offered at Gigabit Ethernet wire speed with multi-service Y.1564 test loopbacks and extremely low latency while serving a wide range of optical reaches.<\/p>\n
