\ncommonly referred to as BIDI SFP, for 80km reach applications with

Integrating APD into BIDI SFP package has been a long standing
\nchallenge for SFP manufacturers because of limited space for APD and
\nthe required circuitry.\u00a0 Combining packaging expertise and BIDI SFP
\nexperience, OE Solutions\u2019 engineering team has achieved a major
\nmilestone in packaging APD into BIDI SFP form factor. This family of
\nBIDI SFP with APD receiver enables the support of longer reach applications
\nfor Metro-WDM market.\u00a0 BIDI SFP\u2019s have been mainly used in access market but
\nthis breakthrough will enable customers to take advantage of the BIDI\u2019s
\ninherent single fiber solution for Metro market.<\/p>\n
In order to meet diverse customer requirements, OE Solutions\u2019 BIDI SFP with
\nAPD is available for both GbE and OC-48\/STM-16 signals; 120km reach for GbE
\nand 80km reach for OC-48\/STM-16.\u00a0 Wavelengths options are available for both
\nTDM and CWDM applications.\u00a0 In addition, as do most of OE Solutions\u2019
\ntransceivers, this new product line also satisfies industrial temperature
\nrequirement, i.e. -40 ~ 85 degC.<\/p>\n
